ASRC Federal Holding Company is looking for a Cloud Engineer to provide skilled operations and engineering staff to implement, manage and support critical Information Technology services.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Cloud-based infrastructure, applications and services that meet the organization’s requirements.
• Deploy new applications to the cloud and migrate existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
• Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems and optimize resources to ensure cost-effective use of services while making sure services are highly available.
• Implement security best practices such as encryption, auditing, and access control to ensure the cloud environment meets security compliance standards.
• RDS Architecture and Optimization: design and implementation of relational database solutions using Amazon RDS, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and optimal performance.
• DevSecOps Integration: Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices across projects by designing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and configuration management using tools like AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, and CloudFormation.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures in line with AWS security best practices. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, and provide recommendations for enhancing data protection and privacy.

Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
• Proficiency in utilizing solutions to implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture
• In-depth knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services
• In-depth knowledge of cloud storage solutions
• In-depth knowledge of cloud networking solutions

Requirements:

• Possessing an active AWS architecture certification is highly preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of MFAand SSO solutions..
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud architecture.
• multi-cloud implementations is a plus.
• Knowledge of DISA STIG security compliance requirements and vendor security best practices (NIST 800-53 security controls).
• Ability to keep up with current technology trends.
• Ability to multitask and coordinate with team members.
• Individual contributor than can influence consensus for a large cross functional team.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust authorization via a background investigation.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of experience in IT
