Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking Mechanical CAD Administrator to join the Configuration Management team. As one of our CAD Administrators, you will be in a technical, hands-on role, responsible for the administration of the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) System, Siemens Teamcenter. This individual will work in a dynamic environment with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Design Drafting departments to develop CAD standards, validate Engineering 3D Models which are used to manufacture hardware, and be the Engineering subject matter expert on modeling techniques and standards. Our work is mission critical and directly contributes to national security.

The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of fundamental configuration management principles related to configuration control of 3D models. We are moving to a digital environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring that NX and CREO 3D models generated by Engineering (or Design Drafting) meet ASME standards. 3D models are used by Manufacturing to machine parts, and by Quality Engineering to inspect parts. You will be responsible for working with Engineering and Drafting to adhere to current modeling standards, which will be presented through formal in-class training, or training materials. Primary Level Salary Range: $114,000.00 - $171,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
