Analyze business, financial and accounting requirements, evaluate solution options, and design IT systems that support informed decision-making.
Apply core Oracle Financial module (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Approval Workflow, Subledger Accounting, Ebiz Tax, and Reporting tools like Smart View) skills to enhance business processes and functionalities and customizations.
Create and maintain requirements documents, functional specifications, test scenarios, and other relevant artifacts for IT solution implementation.
Integrate Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules (PO, Order Management, Inventory) and custom modules with financial modules.
Collaborate with offshore teams to promptly address Oracle-related issues during daily operations.
Develop and maintain project plans for system upgrades, module implementations, and Oracle-related projects, ensuring alignment with approved timelines.
Monitor and control project activities, ensuring communication of status to stakeholders.
Utilize appropriate tools and methodologies, including reporting tools and database management, to support project enhancements.
Facilitate the development and delivery of operational and financial reports using Oracle and other tools in collaboration with geographically dispersed teams.
Create and update end-user training documentation and provide ongoing training on financial applications and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues using application diagnostics, oracle support portal, TOAD/SQL Developer queries, providing ad hoc reports as needed.
Provide production support using service management tools, tracking, and service level management procedures.
Maintain business process documentation related to financial processes, including month-end closing, for modules like GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
Support the manufacturing process and its integration with the finance module, ensuring accurate account derivations and reconciliation.
This position will be working a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week at the company’s Shafter, CA office, and the option to telecommute from within the US permissible twice per week.
Up to 10% domestic travel required within California.
Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree (will accept 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degrees) in Commerce / Accounting, Computer Science/Info Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or a related position involving business systems analysis using Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud Functional Applications with Financial Modules.
