We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Business Partner, Process & Technology Optimisation to lead a newly created team in SydneyThis newly created function has a mandate to drive Process and Technology Optimisation within each of our Practice Groups.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CIO, you will be responsible for leading a team of business partners who will identify innovation opportunities, shape demand and drive adoption of technology solutions across the firm. The position combines strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, portfolio management, innovation leadership and people leadership responsibilities.
Acting as a trusted advisor to the firm leadership, your key responsibilities will include:
Translating the firm strategy and business priorities into technology and transformation opportunities for the Practice Groups.
Developing and executing on the newly created business partnering capability to be embedded within each Practice Group.
Working with the CIO to shape the technology roadmap and identify trends, risks and opportunities impacting legal service delivery and business operations and ensure business value is realised from technology investments.
Driving the identification of opportunities to improve productivity, client service, knowledge sharing and operational efficiency and promote the adoption of AI, automation and digital solutions.
Collaborating with leaders to embed change and adoption considerations into technology initiatives and ensure all initiatives comply with firm governance, information security, privacy and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate alignment between your team, internal stakeholders and the Technology delivery teams.
About you
Significant experience in IT Business Partnering, Digital Transformation, Technology Strategy or similar leadership roles within professional services or consultancy environments.
Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder-facing technology advisory teams.
Experience managing technology portfolios, demand management and prioritisation processes.
Experience identifying and implementing AI, automation, and process improvement opportunities.
Strong commercial, strategic business acumen and demonstrated success working with senior executives and business leaders.
Experience delivering organisational change, technology adoption and transformation initiatives.
