Job Description

Depending on the candidates residing location, this position will operate as Hybrid or Remote.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

The Commercial Excellence Strategic Account Business Analyst will provide analytic rigor, data-driven insights, and operational support for the U.S. Commercial Operations Strategic Accounts. The role will provide revenue and deal pro forma analysis for strategic accounts contract renegotiations, deal reviews and provide analytic support for developing account strategy. KPIs, account planning support and assisting the Strategic Accounts team will be a major focus.

This position strengthens the Strategic Account team through:

· Standardizing reporting and analytics across our most important accounts

· Turning complex data into clear business recommendations

· Supporting sales leadership with actionable insights

· Enhancing visibility into performance drivers, risks, and opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Reporting & KPI Management

· Build, automate, and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Python / Excel).

· Oversee weekly/monthly performance reporting across accounts, products, and sales teams

· Maintain KPI definitions and ensure consistency across Commercial Excellence.

· Develop process metrics for Deal Council for leadership purposes

2. Sales Performance & Funnel Analysis

· Track sales pipeline trends, win/loss analytics, conversion rates, and booking patterns.

· Identify account level performance gaps and opportunities.

· Support quota development and attainment tracking.

3. Forecasting & Planning

· Work with finance and sales to support short and long term forecasting.- and long-term forecasting.

· Provide scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and revenue/profitability impact projections.

· Partner with Sales Ops on account planning, coverage modeling, and segmentation.

4. Business Insights & Strategic Analysis

· Use data to evaluate pricing, product mix, customer trends, and regional performance.

· Conduct root-cause analysis on underperformance or anomalies.

· Provide insights that influence strategic decisions around go to market, growth levers, and operational investment.-to-market, growth levers, and operational investment.

5. Data Stewardship & Quality

· Maintain master data hygiene across CRM/ERP systems.

· Ensure accuracy and integrity of sales, customer, and product datasets.

· Work with IT/BI teams to improve sourcing, structure, and accessibility of data.

6. Stakeholder Partnership

· Serve as the analytics partner for Sales Leadership, Strategic Accounts and Finance

· Translate business questions into analytic frameworks and actionable output.

· Communicate insights with clarity to executive audiences.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· 5-7 years in Sales Operations, Commercial Excellence, Finance, or BI/Analytics

· Experience supporting commercial/sales teams in a complex or multi region environment

· Advanced Excel (modeling, PowerQuery, complex formulas)

· Power BI or Tableau (preferred)

· SQL or other data extraction/querying

· CRM (Salesforce, Dynamics) reporting experience

· Knowledge of forecasting and statistical analysis

· Strong commercial acumen and profitability analysis proficiency

· Ability to translate data into recommendations

· Clear communication, especially for executive-level audiences

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

· Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate’s work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.

Annual Base Salary Rate: $105,000.00 - $175,000.00
