• Serving as the primary functional point of contact for Traders and Commercial teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable outcomes.
• Supporting day-to-day Metals Trading operations across the full trade lifecycle.
• Monitoring the health of ETRM/CTRM platforms and business-critical processes to keep trading systems stable, supported, and available.
• Reviewing trade flows, scheduled jobs, system interfaces, reconciliations, and operational exceptions to surface issues before they reach the desk.
• Performing root cause analysis on system and process issues and driving them through to permanent resolution.
• Coordinating with technology teams to resolve incidents, prioritize fixes, and deliver process and platform enhancements.
• Partnering closely with Market Risk, Trade Operations, Logistics, Finance, Settlement, and Technology to keep data and processes aligned end to end.
• Managing incidents, service requests, production support activities, and change initiatives through to closure.
• Eliciting and validating business requirements and translating them into clear, testable functional specifications.
• Supporting testing activities, including UAT, for enhancements, upgrades, and regulatory or business-driven changes.
• Identifying operational and control risks across trade capture, pricing, position, and settlement processes, and recommending pragmatic improvements.
• Creating and maintaining SOPs, process documentation, runbooks, and training materials that outlast any single individual.
• Mentoring and cross-training team members to deepen the team's knowledge.
• Driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives that measurably improve reliability and efficiency.
•Experienced in Business Analysis, Functional Consulting, or Trading Systems, ideally within commodities or metals trading.
•Strong domain expertise in Metals Trading across physical and/or financial markets.
•Deep understanding of the complete trade lifecycle, from deal capture through confirmation, settlement, and accounting.
•Hands-on experience supporting ETRM/CTRM platforms in a live production environment.
•Proven experience partnering directly with Traders, Risk, Operations, and Finance stakeholders.
•Strong working knowledge of trade operations, settlements, contracts, inventory, logistics, hedging, pricing, and risk management processes.
•Experience supporting production environments and critical business applications.
•Experience monitoring interfaces, integrations, batch jobs, reconciliations, and data-quality controls.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex cross-system issues.
•Demonstrated ability to perform business process analysis and structured requirements gathering.
•Experience authoring functional specifications and business documentation.
•Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, and enhancement projects.
•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including with senior commercial and trading audiences.
•Ability to operate independently, self-direct priorities, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced trading environment.
•Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
