The role
As the Principal Building Structures Engineer you will act as a technical team leader, providing advice, guidance, and supervision as appropriate to the delivery of projects within the Built Environment Structural Engineering portfolio, operational managers, clients, and suppliers.
You will manage or influence the actions of technical teams regardless of office location, project, or account, including the multidisciplinary environment and to undertake the people manager role when required by the business.
You will work with other technical leads within the Built Environment practice to engender a quality culture in the practice with staff owning their assigned deliverables and wanting to delivery right-first time. Whilst in the role, the individual is expected to develop their technical and professional skills to a level approaching subject matter expert.
