A DAY IN THE LIFE: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical and Clinical Support
Provide quality technical support to help sites achieve procedural success.
Provide technical support to Medtronic employees and implanting teams forAorticimplant proceduresin accordance withMedtronic guidance.
Provide technical leadership forAorticdevice proceduresEducate implanting teams on proper indications forAorticproceduresProvide support on questionsregardingdevice suitability with measuring ability and CT reconstructionexpertise
Provide comprehensive technical support including knowledge of imaging modalities (angiography/CT),wires and catheters, andancillary procedural solutions.
Knowledge of MedtronicAorticproduct IFUs for safe and effective use of devices.
Develop andmaintaincomprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge
Understand current publishedAorticand relevant literature
Recognize and understand competitive products, industry trends, andAortic/PeripheralportfolioLiaison withUpstream Marketingfor technology improvements and next generation needs
Educational Support
Oversee local education and training activities including coordination and set upofprocedure simulators, facilitation of simulatedAorticprocedures and procedural troubleshooting, and coordination and facilitation of staff in-services to include pre/peri/postAorticprocedures.
Provide education on safe and effective use of Medtronic products
Educatetrain/In-service general surgery, vascular and cardio-thoracic fellows, and residents.
Ensure all vascular and cardio-thoracic fellows and residents are entered into the Aortic National Database.
Graduate all residents and fellows inSalesForceto ensurean appropriate handoffto the receiving territory.
Customer Service and Sales Support
Support district sales strategy working with sales representatives and managers to achieve business plans withinthe AorticbusinessContribute to the development ofa strong teameffort
Ensure comprehensive technical and customer support within territory tomaintainsuperior customer service levels and effective time management
Shared responsibilityofinventory management. To includecustomer management of inventory ordering, shelf stock,stagnantand returnsEnsuring there is no expired inventory in the field or implanted in a patient.
Identify,establish,andmaintainproductive working relationships with key decision makers, customers and their staff, administrative staff, etc.
Participate in customer/society education meetings and conventionswhereappropriate
Respond to customer requests and resolve complaints in a prompt and effective manner
Reportdevice complaintswithin48 hoursthrough MedtronicmPXRin order toensure proper reporting and compliance of device and procedural issues.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
