The Principal Analyst – Space Planning & Planogram will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and governing planogram strategies while supporting retail teams with data-driven insights and scalable solutions. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, project ownership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Develop, maintain, and deliver market-specific planograms based on store clustering, space allocation strategies, and established merchandising standards.
• Collaborate with retail and market teams to ensure planogram execution aligns with business goals, operational needs, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Analyze retail space utilization, merchandising effectiveness, and performance data to identify opportunities for improving store productivity and customer experience.
• Lead multiple space planning and optimization projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and business objectives are consistently achieved.
• Serve as a strategic partner to regional stakeholders by promoting planogram consistency, governance, and best practices across markets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process efficiencies, standardizing workflows, and implementing scalable retail planning approaches.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve merchandising strategies, product placement, and overall retail performance.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment between business teams, planning teams, and operational stakeholders.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced retail space planning professional with strong expertise in planogram development, data analysis, and stakeholder management. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects, working with specialized planning tools, and translating business requirements into effective merchandising solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in Retail Space Planning, Category Planning, Planogram Development, or a related retail merchandising function.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard space planning and planogram tools such as JDA (Blue Yonder), Spaceman, Hoffrogge, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools, with the ability to perform data analysis and generate business insights.
• Proven project management experience with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
• Experience in retail or consumer products environments is highly preferred.
