Arcadis is seeking a Principal Air Quality Engineer to join our Integrated Sustainability and Compliance (ISC) team, in a Texas office such as Austin, Dallas, or Houston. This will be a hybrid role, splitting time between an Arcadis office, remote work and visits to client sites.
ISC is an area of our business that is growing rapidly and is a priority in our global strategy and an area of heightened focus and investment in our current strategy cycle. ISC services include Air Quality Permitting and Compliance, Environmental Due Diligence, Environmental Compliance and Assurance, Safety Compliance and Assurance, Digital EHS&S, Industrial Hygiene, Sustainability and Product Stewardship.
In this role you will work directly with the North American Air Quality and Noise Community of Practice Leaders to grow the Gulf Coast air quality practice and provide support to our key clients. You will be responsible for leading Gulf Coast based air quality projects such as air permitting and compliance support, regulatory applicability and strategy development, emissions inventory development and reporting, engine and ozone depleting substances compliance, greenhouse gas emissions and sustainability reporting and/or air dispersion modeling. You will also support sales and marketing efforts in the Gulf Coast by meeting with clients, writing proposals, and leading technical projects to deliver excellent Air Quality Services.

Role accountabilities:
This role includes performing a wide variety of air quality services for clients in industries such as chemical, oil and gas, manufacturing, automotive, and transportation. While your project focus will be air quality, you will have the opportunity to participate in other environmental compliance projects within our ISC group.
In this role you must be willing to travel up to 10-25% for project and client needs which may include single overnight trips. Most work can be performed from an Arcadis office location or remotely.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $136,000-204,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
