Job Description

Releady is partnering with a healthcare technology company to hire a Principal AI Automation Engineer (Agentic PMO) to revolutionize how projects are delivered at an enterprise scale in highly complex environments. Our client provides a modern technology platform built for nonprofit and regional health plans — enabling them to automate operations, reduce administrative costs, and deliver more personalized member experiences through AI. Backed by a large, established nonprofit health system, the company is actively expanding its partner base and scaling fast.
This individual will evaluate, design, and build an industry-leading "Agent-based PMO." Operating entirely within an Azure and Microsoft Copilot ecosystem, you will transition a project management framework from manual administrative tasks to an intelligent, autonomous engine. You will build AI agents and automated workflows that handle the entire project lifecycle—from automated PMO intake and zero-touch SharePoint provisioning, to complex financial reconciliations, rubric-based risk scoring, and automated decommissioning. By eliminating administrative bottlenecks, you will empower our human Project Managers to focus entirely on strategic execution and complex problem-solving.

  • Pay Rate: $85 – $100/hr
  • Duration: 6-month contract w/ possibility of extension
  • Location: FULLY REMOTE. Must be located in one of the following states: (California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona)


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PMO Process Mapping & Optimization: Deeply evaluate and understand existing PMO methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and governance frameworks. Map current human workflows to design logical, automated agentic processes that align with enterprise project delivery standards.
  • Intake & Zero-Touch Provisioning: Automate the PMO intake process, including the dynamic creation and governance of SharePoint project/program sites, baseline document generation, and high-level resource allocation assessments.
  • Financial Data Orchestration: Architect secure data pipelines utilizing MuleSoft to automate financial tracking. Reconcile actuals, automate data flow from Jagger (eProcurement) into finance spreadsheets, and automate Quarterly Investment Summary development directly from Planview
  • Autonomous Nudging & RAID Management: Develop intelligent workflows to collect and track cross-project dependencies. Deploy automated "nudge" systems for stale RAID items (2+ weeks), status reports, and key meeting reminders (AMAs, cross-functional syncs).
  • Conversational AI & Live Dashboards: Utilize NLP and Copilot to extract updates from conversations to automatically refresh Integrated Roadmaps. Build dynamic, live-status Power BI sites and visual dashboards summarizing qualitative and quantitative RAID and financial data.
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance: Automate the decommissioning of projects. Implement logic to auto-score program risk based on standardized rubrics and build secure workflows for legal/compliance attestations (e.g., depositions).


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise systems architecture, process automation, or integration engineering, including 2+ years of recent, dedicated focus on applied AI solutions and LLM-driven workflows at a Principal or Lead level.
  • Deep PMO Process & Tooling Expertise: Subject matter expertise in Project Management Office (PMO) operations, project lifecycles, and enterprise PPM tools (e.g., Planview, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet). You must deeply understand the "human" mechanics of project delivery to successfully automate them.
  • Microsoft AI Ecosystem Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience building agents and automated workflows utilizing Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power BI, and the wider Power Platform.
  • Complex Enterprise Integration: Proven track record of designing secure APIs and utilizing enterprise service buses (specifically MuleSoft) to orchestrate data across tools like Planview, Jagger, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Jira, and Workday.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrated experience building automated systems and AI workflows within highly regulated environments, with a deep understanding of data privacy, governance, and secure AI guardrails for sensitive items like attestations.

  • Measurable reduction in manual administrative hours per project lifecycle.
  • 100% automated project intake, site provisioning, and end-of-life decommissioning.
  • Successful deployment of internal PMO Agents capable of autonomous RAID follow-ups and seamless financial reconciliation.
