Providetechnical, educational, operational and sales support toassistthe district in meetingCardiac Rhythm Management (CRM)sales andcustomer serviceobjectives  CRMseekscollaborativecandidates who will meet our customer expectations by striving without reserve for the greatest possible reliability and quality in our products,processesand systems by being accountable, having a voice andtaking action

Clinical Specialistsare required tobe within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS’s arerequiredto worka number ofweekends and holidays during the quarter, asdeterminedby local managementWeeknight call coverage is the primary responsibility of the Sales Rep, however, at times, business and/or geographical needs require a CS to be scheduled for weeknight coverage as approved by regional management.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Support

  • Successfully completes CRMField Technical Training – including online and field-based training

  • Performschecks/interrogations of all CRMmedical device systemspost sign-off

  • Supports implants of all CRMproducts post sign-off

  • Provides on-call support as neededon evenings and weekends post sign-off

  • Provide troubleshooting support as requested

  • Operational Support

  • Assures completion of patient registration and any other required hospital documentation

  • Helps manage consignment inventory and trunk inventory once obtained

  • Providesadditionalinventory support to meet customer needs

  • Maintains software on programmers throughout the district as directed

  • Assistswith managing daily coveragelogisticsas needed

  • Educational Support

  • Educates and trains physicians, hospital personnel and office staff on productsor solutions for which training has been completed

  • Assistswith educating and training new Clinical Specialists and Sales Representatives post sign-off

  • Sales Support

  • Partners with DSM, Sales Reps and DM to learn market dynamics and local customer motivations and needs; has a basic understanding of how Medtronic CRHF products and solutions offer value to the customer

  • Assistswith obtaining customer POs throughout the quarter

  • Has a basic understanding of the competitive landscape

  • Independentlyidentifiescustomer needs and opportunities and provides feedback to Sales Rep(s) to support sales objectives

  • Ongoing Technical Development

  • Stays up to date on new products,solutions,and patient management offerings

  • Completes all assigned trainingin a timely manner

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

MUST HAVE - MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

  • High School Diploma PLUS a minimum 11 years of work experience in clinical cardiac device/EP role, or sales or service in a cardiac device company -OR-

  • Associate degreePLUS a minimum 9 years of work experience in clinical cardiac device/EP role, or sales or service in cardiac device company -OR-

  • Bachelor’s Degree PLUS a minimum 7 years of work experience in clinical cardiac device/EP role, or sales or service in cardiac device company

-AND-

  • Current or prior IBHRE (NASPE) Certification

NICE TO HAVE - DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry

  • Proven ability to build/maintainpositive relationships with peers and colleagues across organization levels

  • Strong work ethic in accomplishingobjectivesof the position

  • Expertisewith Microsoft tools and other applications (i.e., SalesForce.com)

  • Ability to meet vendor credentialing requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate/participateinnumeroustasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines

  • Sitting,standingand/or walking for up to eight plus hours per day

  • Environmental exposures include eye protection, infectiousdiseaseand radiation

  • Ability to wear 7-9lbsof lead for extended periods of time while in the OR

  • Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects,toolsor controls

  • Ability to effectively use a mobile phone, PC,keyboardand mouse

  • Frequent bending/stooping,squattingand balance

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus in relation to travel andoperatinga personal computer

Work and Travel Requirements:

  • Continuous verbal and written communication

  • Ability to travel extensively with ease (approx. 10% of time)

  • Must be able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory

  • Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):110000-130000The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
