Job Description

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for a bilingual school based in Chengdu. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year starting in September 2026.

As a primary school teacher, you will serve as a homeroom teacher and teach subjects like English, art, PE, music, personal/social class, math, and homeroom sessions as well as:

• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Delivery music courses to primary school students
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Contribute to and develop a comprehensive curriculum
• Support students learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, such as supporting English and in other subjects and programs

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in education preferred
• Teaching license
• Teaching in a mixed-ability classroom
• A proven track-record of success in the classroom

• Monthly salary of 20,000 to 22,000 RMB after tax commensurate with experience and qualifications
