About the Role:
To ensure continuity of learning by covering classes during teacher absences in Primary section, maintaining classroom management standards, and delivering pre-prepared lessons effectively in line with school policies.
🛠 Key Responsibilities Include:
Main Responsibilities
1. Classroom Management
• Supervise and manage assigned classes during teacher absence.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment.
• Ensure students follow school rules and behavioral policies.
2. Academic Responsibilities
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or Head of Department.
• Ensure continuity of learning objectives during the absence period.
• Support students in completing assigned classwork.
• Adapt teaching approach according to students’ level when needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant subject area.
• Excellent English
• Previous teaching or classroom experience in EYFS and/or Primary education is preferred.
• LSAs/Assistants with strong classroom management skills may also be considered.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and age groups.
• Clear communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to follow lesson plans effectively.
• Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Flexibility and ability to work under short notice.
• Good organizational and time management skills
