Brigham and Women’s Primary Care is seeking a compassionate, mission-driven Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered adult primary care. Join our mission-driven team at the Southern Jamaica Plain Community Health Center, where you will play a vital role in caring for a vibrant, diverse patient community within a collaborative, well-resourced, and equity-focused environment. This is a part-time position, offering four to six clinical sessions per week (each session is 4 hours). Clinicians are supported by a team-based model, an in-basket support team, AI-enabled documentation tools, and a robust administrative and clinical infrastructure, to enable efficient, relationship-centered care.
Clinical Model & Care Philosophy- As a member of our Primary Care Physician team, you will deliver patient-centered care through a collaborative, team-based, and value-driven population health management model. This approach prioritizes proactive health screening and preventive care, thorough evaluation and diagnosis of symptoms, expert management of both chronic and acute conditions, and coordinated care with enhanced communication among specialists for patients with complex needs. You will also leverage and optimize an innovative clinical model designed to enhance care delivery.
Our comprehensive care team extends beyond physicians to include behavioral health clinicians, social workers, nurses, population health coordinators, patient navigators, community health workers, resource specialists, high-risk RN case managers, and virtual care support.
Southern Jamaica Plain Community Health Center is a comprehensive facility offering a wide array of services, including primary care, laboratory services, and behavioral health. The center is hospital licensed by Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and is part of the Mass General Brigham (MGB) healthcare system. Our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality, team-based care to all patients and families, with a strong focus on vulnerable and underserved populations. Most of our patients are MassHealth (Medicaid) recipients and come from nearby communities, including Jamaica Plain, Hyde Park, Mattapan, Dorchester, Roxbury, Roslindale, and West Roxbury.

Appointment at Harvard Medical School—Depending upon the position, there may be opportunities to teach residents and medical students. All Harvard Medical School Faculty appointments require at least 50 hours of teaching per academic year. Harvard Medical School faculty appointment is not a requirement for this position. Academic rank as Instructor or Assistant Professor, full-time or part-time at Harvard Medical School, will be considered for applicants meeting teaching expectations and will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.

Total annual cash compensation for a Primary Care Physician generally ranges from $245,000 to $330,000 and includes base salary and eligible performance-based incentives. Physicians who achieve a full clinical panel and meet defined performance benchmarks are typically compensated at the higher end of this range. The stated compensation ranges reflect estimated full-time annual compensation and do not include the full value of additional benefits. Actual earnings may vary and may increase over time based on experience, productivity, performance, and market adjustments
