Department Overview

Columbia Memorial Hospital (CMH) in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) is seeking an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join our established and growing Primary Care team on northern Oregon Coast.

Function/Duties of Position

Our Primary Care position offers a unique opportunity to pursue the comforts and quality of life in a small-town community practice at CMH with an affiliation to Oregon's only academic medical center, OHSU.

  • Work in a close team of new and experienced physicians and advanced practice providers in a team-oriented environment.
  • A four-day work week with dedicated administrative time.
  • Outpatient practice with hospitalist services available to cover inpatient admissions.
  • No in person call requirements, only telephone-based call requirements.
  • Hospital employed position, with immediate access to multiple specialists.
  • Guaranteed base salary with annual quality incentives.
  • Hiring incentives including commencement bonus, home purchasing assistance and relocation.

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited United States medical school.
  • Board Certification / Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Ability to obtain an active unrestricted Oregon Medical License.
  • DEA Certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team of health care providers and collaborate to achieve patient care goals.
