About the Role
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care
- Manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Promote preventive care and patient education
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations
- Develop individualized care plans and coordinate follow-up care
- Educate patients regarding treatment options, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices
- Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification
- Active Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient relationship-building abilities
- Previous primary care, family medicine, or outpatient experience preferred
