Primary Care Outpatient Physician near The Villages, Florida 


We are searching for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to be an integral part of our outpatient practice. A valid Florida medical license is required for this position. Your responsibilities will include managing a reasonable caseload of 19-25 patients per day. You'll enjoy strong support from Physicians Assistants, Family Nurse Practitioners, Medical Assistants, and administrative staff. This role does not involve in-patient duties, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and screenings
- Manage patients' chronic conditions, such as diabetes or hypertension
- Offer family planning services and counseling
- Perform minor surgical procedures, including suturing and biopsies
- Administer Botox injections for cosmetic or therapeutic purposes
- Manage airway emergencies and perform basic airway management techniques
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dedicated primary care outpatient physician. You'll be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care, including patient consultations, medical history assessments, physical examinations, and diagnosis and treatment of various acute and chronic conditions. Emphasis will be placed on preventive care, chronic disease management, and health promotion through vaccinations, screenings, and counseling on lifestyle modifications. Collaborating with specialists and other healthcare providers, maintaining accurate medical records, and providing emergency and urgent care as needed are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, you'll engage in patient advocacy, health education, and continuous professional development to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
- Ability to provide comprehensive patient care across the lifespan
- Familiarity with family planning methods and counseling techniques
- Experience in performing minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and biopsies
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation purposes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
