PURPOSE
According to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable state, federal and accreditation regulations and under the general supervision of the Director of Operations- Advance Practice, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing nursing care services to residents/clients as assigned, making observations on an advanced level, forming nursing judgments, carrying out nursing actions based upon understanding of the scientific principles involved, reporting and recording observations appropriately. This position provides a part-time schedule, with work hours tailored to the department's needs.

JOB SPECIFICATION SHEET – Nurse Practitioner -Advance Practice (Part Time)
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Master’s Degree in Nursing and a nurse practitioner certification.
Experience: Minimum of two years as an RN in a healthcare setting.
Travel: Moderate
Mental: Must have good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Skills: Must have working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and World Wide Web.
Licensure: Current RN License and Nurse Practitioner in good standing for the state in which practicing.
