The Pricing Analytics & Modeling Analyst applies statistics, modeling, and data analysis to drive pricing and revenue decisions across the organization. He/She translates business problems into analytical solutions; pricing and optimization models; forecasts; decision-support analytics; and delivers them as working Python applications and tools that put analysis in front of decision-makers.

This position partners closely with Pricing, Sales, and Operations to turn data into recommendations that improve profitability. The role is open to an analytically minded, business-oriented candidate in the early stage of their career.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes pricing, volume, and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and translates findings into business recommendations.
  • Develops, validates, and maintains statistical, forecasting, and optimization models that support pricing and profitability decisions.
  • Applies statistical techniques (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing) to test assumptions and quantify the impact of pricing and business decisions.
  • Partners with Pricing, Sales, and Operations to frame business problems analytically and deliver actionable insight.
  • Builds Python applications, dashboards, and automation to deliver analysis and models to internal decision-makers, using AI-assisted development tools
  • Writes and optimizes SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems.
  • Identifies and automates manual, repetitive analytical and reporting processes.
  • Documents methodology and supports business users in adopting analytical tools and recommendations.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align analytical solutions with business objectives and operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Applied knowledge of statistics (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing, model validation) that the candidate can apply independently
  • Demonstrated experience building and validating statistical, forecasting, or optimization models
  • Experience analyzing data and translating insights into business recommendations
  • Proficiency in Python sufficient to read, debug, and modify code independently, and to exercise sound judgment over AI-generated code (beyond introductory coursework)
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and analysis
  • Strong analytical and business judgment with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain analysis to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred:

  • Experience with Streamlit or similar frameworks (Dash, Flask, etc.)
  • Prior experience deploying applications or building internal tools
  • Familiarity with optimization methods (e.g., linear/integer programming, solvers)
  • Exposure to AI/LLM concepts, including prompt-based workflows or basic agent implementations
  • Experience working with large datasets in enterprise environments (SQL Server)
  • Background in pricing, revenue management, analytics, operations, or logistics environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree or internationally equivalent in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or similar)
