The Pricing Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing pricing strategies that drive Profitable growth while remaining competitive and aligning with customer expectations. This role partners closely with Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to support promotional planning, key value item (KVI) strategies, competitive pricing, and margin optimization.
Specifically, You Will:
Lead the development and execution of pricing strategies that drive profitable growth while maintaining competitiveness and strong customer value perception
Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to influence assortment decisions, promotional plans, and key value item (KVI) strategies
Translate complex data and analytics into actionable insights to guide pricing decisions and support senior leadership recommendations
Monitor and optimize pricing performance, identifying opportunities to improve margin, volume, and overall category results
Track market trends and competitive dynamics, proactively recommending pricing adjustments to stay aligned with customer expectations
Drive continuous improvement in pricing tools, reporting, and processes, including dashboard oversight, system enhancements, and workflow optimization
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
Hybrid office environment, 4 days in Richmond Hill and 1 day remote
Some of what you need:
Successful completion of post-secondary education or equivalent blend of education and work experience.
2-3 years of experience in price management, category management, and/or merchandising analytics.
Strategic thinking with strong attention to detail
Data-driven decision making
Stakeholder management and effective communication
Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
Ability to balance customer value and margin performance
