We are looking for the right person to join our team in Dammam as our new Pricing Specialist – Project & Breakbulk. Could it be you?

What would your day at GAC look like?

If appointed, you will play a key role in competitive pricing and profitable logistics solutions for project cargo, breakbulk and heavy-lift shipments across Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with customers, carriers and operations teams to help drive commercial growth through tailored transport solutions and effective cost management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prepare and submit competitive commercial proposals in response to RFQs, tenders and strategic business opportunities.
• Develop end-to-end logistics solutions covering air, sea, land and port operations.
• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with shipping lines, transport providers, heavy lift operators and subcontractors.
• Work on RFQs, tenders and strategic customer bids with commercially viable pricing proposals.
• Conducting cost analysis to ensure profitability and margin control.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure offered solutions are operationally feasible and efficient.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, transport companies and service providers.
• Monitor and update market trends and freight rates.
• Maintain pricing databases.
• Prepare monthly reports and analysis based on quoted, secured and lost business.
• Ensuring timely responses to customer enquiries as per set KPI’s and business opportunities.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field. Equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
• Experience in pricing Project Cargo and Breakbulk logistics.
• Proven experience in Saudi Arabia, with extensive knowledge of local logistics markets, ports, transport regulations and project cargo requirements.
• Proven experience handling heavy-lift, oversized and industrial cargo shipments.
• Experience supporting tenders, RFQs and complex customer proposals.
• Experience working with EPC contractors and projects within the energy, oil & gas, infrastructure or industrial sectors.
• Existing network of carriers, transport companies and logistics service providers across Saudi Arabia.

Skills

• Strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation and multimodal transport.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and freight management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic will be considered an advantage).
• Ability to work independently while effectively supporting business development and key account teams.
