The Pricing Specialist will be responsible for product pricing and discount management for GWS's offer — setting and maintainingaccurate list prices and managing discount structures — ensuring pricing decisions are consistent, well-controlled, and aligned with market dynamics and business objectives
Duties/Responsibilities:
Product pricing — identify price drivers, setting, updating, and maintaining list prices in line with strategies defined by the Pricing Manager
Manage discount structures, including standard discount guidelines, discount approval matrices, and exception handling
Monitor discount usage and leakage in the markets, identifying trends, outliers, or erosion of price realization, and escalate corrective action to the Pricing Manager or other relevant stakeholders
Conduct regular price and discount analysis to support decision-making on list price adjustments, and discount guidelines changes
Support the annual price planning process by preparing pricing and discount data, and analysis
Conduct market and competitor pricing and discounting analysis to inform pricing decisions
Support the maintenance and application of pricing and discount policies and cross-functional price-related processes
Participate in internal and cross-functional initiatives and projects

Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient in fundamentals of big data and analytics, strong MS Excel skills required
Solid understanding of metal cutting products, discount structures, and price-realization concepts
Good networking and collaboration skills
Ability to work with a degree of ambiguity and propose sound recommendations
Self-motivated team player, able to work independently using a proactive approach
Knowledge of product pricing and profitability principles, with practical understanding of discount management
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information appropriately
Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Education and Experience:
University degree level in Economics, Marketing, Business, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
Full proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
Minimum 2–4 years professional experience in Pricing, Product management, Sales, or Finance
Hands-on experience with product pricing and/or discount management in a non-managerial, individual-contributor role
No people management experience required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at a time.
