Job Description

What You'll Do

  • 40%
  • Leads the development and deployment of pricing strategies which maximize the volume, revenue and profitability of Goodyear’s e-commerce channel. This would include
  • Defining the price strategy/architecture across the Goodyear product portfolio in e-commerce channeland vs competition. This would include setting the sell-in and recommended sell-out price for the e-commerce channel for existing and new skus
  • Ensuring price harmonization with other channels
  • 30%
  • Establishing consumer tire pricing database across distributor, KA and E-commerce channels which consists of main competitor’s detail price by pattern/size, obtain first-hand price information via regular market visit, communicate across Goodyear channel customers, Goodyear sales, marketing, product, retail teams to analysis and validate the collected market price information, update the database on regular basis to ensure the accurate pricing data to be used for Goodyear strategic pricing planning.

  • Develop pricing dashboard based on intelligence to monitor internal & external price actions.
  • Leads the development of monthly review of pricing promotion plans for e-commerce channel.
  • Propose pricing actions to be taken to optimize Sell-In / Sell-Through /Sell-out programs.
  • 10%
  • Submit weekly/monthly pricing summary and reports based on the analyzed and validated market pricing data to update the leadership and Consumer PBU team

What We're Looking For

  • >5 years work experience with >3 years of pricing experience
  • E-commerce pricing experience is a must
  • Work experience in a tire industry/on-line channel is a plus
  • Big data analytical experience is a plus
  • Strong multi-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to analyze and propose well thought out solutions
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications
