This is an exciting leadership role with the opportunity to lead both technical and personnel aspects of pricing and quoting operations. As Pricing Group Leader, you will guide the team and oversee the process of pricing test services and generating quotations supporting study based and routine biologic product testing programs. This role ensures accurate and timely pricing, supports departmental objectives, and drives continuous improvement. The leader acts as a technical resource, trainer, and problem-solver, while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Foster a positive, professional, and inclusive work environment.
  • Communicate a clear vision and motivate team members to achieve excellence.
  • Coach, train, and develop staff to maximize individual and team performance.
  • Conduct semi-annual performance reviews and participate in succession planning.
  • Address performance issues promptly and constructively.
  • Review and approve time entries for direct reports.

Operational Excellence

  • Plan, monitor, and manage workflow to meet customer service needs and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain data integrity and accurate record-keeping.
  • Support departmental Management Operating System (MOS) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical Expertise

  • Act as a technical resource for pricing processes and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure accurate quoting and pricing; identify and correct discrepancies.
  • Provide input on operational and technical improvements.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive language tailored to client needs.

Customer Focus

  • Demonstrate responsiveness and commitment to delivering exceptional service and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and technical teams to deliver accurate, compelling, and customer-centric proposals.
  • Understand customer needs and tailor proposal content to address specific objectives and priorities.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience working in LIMs in biologics lab operations or relevant operations support, such as Project Management, Analytical Definition etc, and a strong desire to move into a leadership role.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (2 years of related experience is equivalent to 1 year of college eduction)
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience.
  • Background or understanding of client pricing, project scope creation, or biopharmaceutical analytical testing.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply.
