We are seeking a dedicated Pricing and Quoting Professional to join our Procurement Department within the Transversal Support Division at CEVA FM Mexico, based in Apodaca-Monterrey. This pivotal role is designed for individuals who possess a strong technical background and a comprehensive understanding of advanced support for acquisition activities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating daily procurement operations and ensuring smooth and efficient processes throughout our supply chain management.

As a Pricing and Quoting Professional, you will be responsible for delivering a wide array of services that require advanced technical knowledge and expertise in procurement. Your contributions will be vital in managing quotation preparations, purchase order processing, customer service, and market trend research. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the preparation of price quotations and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to support daily procurement activities.
  • Review, complete, and process a variety of procurement forms, documents, databases, and related materials to maintain up-to-date and compliant records.
  • Provide both basic and advanced support and interpretation of procurement policies, programmes, and best practices to staff and management, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Assist in investigating procurement-related issues, developing practical and efficient solutions, and addressing routine enquiries effectively.
  • Support the ongoing review and refinement of procurement policies, practices, and programmes to meet organisational operational and administrative needs.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and organisational standards by providing relevant guidance, escalating issues when necessary, and following directives efficiently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of the procurement department and overall business success.

Professional Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain operations, particularly in pricing, quoting, and purchase order management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of procurement procedures and the ability to interpret complex policy documents.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritise work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail when addressing procurement inquiries and issues.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers or clients.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing procurement activities in Mexico.
