Job Description

Position: Pricing and Bid Analyst

Primary Location: Home Based, Canada or US

Reports to: Bid and Pricing Operations Manager

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000

Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. More specific salary ranges for your preferred location can be discussed during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, benefits, pension contributions and/or additional incentives

About the Role

Support and collaborate with the business by timely and efficiently addressing municipal bids for the United States. Provide price support/analysis for the assigned Marketing group ensuring all pricing is up to date. Provide supply chain support during production disruptions. Is responsible for supporting management, sales, marketing, customer service, and finance by managing/administering timely and accurate systematic pricing, surcharges, audits

  • Commercial mindset (customer centric)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team member.
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Good strong working knowledge and use of computer programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills and follow-up skills.
  • SAP experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages bid resources (E-mail and subscriptions) for upcoming opportunities and requirements.
  • Process support and workload support to the bid specialist
  • Analyses, compiles, administers, and inputs customer pricing agreements and price lists, including the update of pricing and contract term In the most effective way for SAP optimization.
  • Project expert in initiatives related to improvement or implementations
  • Reporting and reporting maintenance to support data driven decisions and workflow. Ensures Data Integrity
  • Obtains bid results and documenting those in appropriate computer software/systems (SAP).
  • Manages and documents the management approvals required for price levels, surcharge calculations, and contract terms.
  • Manages and facilitates pricing audits to drive high expectations of price accuracy.
  • Investigates and resolves pricing disparities with customer.
  • Initiate impending bid calls to ensure bid request proposals are received on a timely basis.
  • Other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
