About the Position:
The Pricing Analyst supports the development and execution of pricing strategies across the company’s portfolio of HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies. This role is responsible for analyzing pricing performance, maintaining pricing structures, and identifying opportunities to improve margin while remaining competitive in the market.
The Pricing Analyst will work cross-functionally with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, and OEM partners to ensure pricing decisions are supported by data, aligned with company objectives, and accurately implemented across systems.Essential Responsibilities:Pricing Analysis & Strategy Support
- Analyze pricing, cost, and sales data to identify opportunities to improve gross margin and price realization.
- Support the execution of pricing strategies across product categories including equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Monitor margin performance and identify pricing inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of pricing models, customer pricing structures, and discount frameworks.
OEM Pricing Programs & Submissions
- Collaborate closely with OEM partners to support pricing programs, special pricing agreements, and customer-specific pricing initiatives.
- Utilize OEM CRM and pricing submission platforms to prepare, submit, and track special pricing requests and program approvals.
- Monitor and manage OEM pricing approvals to ensure accurate implementation within internal systems and alignment with company pricing strategy.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain pricing data within the company’s ERP and pricing systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Develop reports and dashboards that provide visibility into pricing performance and margin trends.
- Support data integrity across pricing attributes, cost updates, and price lists.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales teams to support pricing requests and deal analysis.
- Work with Purchasing and Vendor Management teams to monitor supplier cost changes and adjust pricing accordingly.
- Support leadership with data-driven insights and recommendations related to pricing performance.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct market pricing comparisons and competitive benchmarking.
- Monitor industry pricing trends within the HVAC distribution market.
- Provide insights that support strategic pricing decisions and promotional initiatives.

Qualifications, Attributes, Education, and/or

Experience:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
- Experience working with ERP systems and pricing databases.
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools.
- AI Agent Development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with sales, leadership, and external partners.
