Job Summary:

The Pricing Coordinator supports accurate and consistent pricing by maintaining pricing data, leading price updates and customer pricing requests, and analyzing pricing and gross margin information. This role works closely with Product Management, Sales, Inventory Management, Finance, and IT to identify pricing issues, communicate needed changes, and keep pricing activities moving on time.

The position combines pricing analysis, data management, contract administration, and operational support, requiring strong attention to detail and follow-through. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working with data, taking ownership of their work, and looking for ways to improve processes as they build their pricing and business knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze, and process supplier pricing updates in P21, identifying missing, discontinued, or exception items and communicating findings to Product Managers.
  • Enter, maintain, and audit pricing and customer job contracts to support accurate and timely pricing execution.
  • Analyze pricing records and contracts for expirations, discontinued items, and required updates, and prepare recurring pricing reports.
  • Analyze gross margin reporting, identify items requiring attention, and communicate findings and recommended follow-up to Product teams.
  • Develop and maintain Excel and Google Sheets spreadsheets, reports, and tracking tools to organize and validate pricing, customer, and product data.
  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, Inventory Management, Finance, and IT to address pricing requests, data discrepancies, and day-to-day pricing needs.
  • Maintain accurate pricing documentation and provide administrative and operational support to keep department workflows organized and moving forward.
  • Take ownership of assigned pricing processes, follow issues through resolution, and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate data, records, and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and follow-up needs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned work, identify issues, and follow through to resolution.
  • Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and business practices and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
  • Preferred:
  • Post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in pricing administration, pricing support, sales support, product administration, data management, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience working with an ERP system, particularly Epicor Prophet 21 (P21).
  • Experience maintaining pricing data, customer pricing, supplier pricing, contracts, or product information.
  • Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, including experience organizing, validating, and reporting on business data.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Finance, Inventory, or other business teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement, process improvement, and taking on increasing responsibility over time.
