Salary Exempt (United States of America)The Pricing Administrator is a key member of Altium Packaging's Commercial Excellence and Pricing organization. This role is responsible for the administration, execution, governance, and accuracy of customer pricing across the enterprise. The Pricing Administrator partners closely with Sales, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Customer Service, Operations, and Information Systems to manage pricing processes, administer contractual pricing requirements, support pricing automation initiatives, maintain pricing systems, and ensure pricing integrity.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple functions. Critical success factors include data management expertise, process improvement capabilities, problem-solving skills, system administration experience, and a strong understanding of financial and commercial concepts.
Essential Job Functions
Pricing Administration & Execution
Administer and maintain customer pricing across all business segments.
Configure, validate, and maintain customer pricing agreements and contract pricing within JD Edwards (JDE) and other pricing systems.
Track resin indexes and process customer pricing adjustments in accordance with contractual requirements.
Track and administer non-market pricing changes related to labor, freight, utilities, corrugate, and other cost drivers.
Track, calculate, and implement contracted pricing adjustments and pass-through mechanisms.
Ensure timely and accurate execution of pricing for new customer contracts, amendments, and renewals.
Review, validate, and approve polycarbonate pricing requests in accordance with established pricing guidelines.
Participate in quarterly freight pricing reviews and updates.
Pricing Governance & Compliance
Ensure pricing accuracy through ongoing validation, audit processes, and pricing controls.
Develop and maintain procedures, documentation, and internal controls related to pricing administration.
Perform recurring pricing audits to ensure compliance with customer contracts and company policies.
Investigate and resolve customer pricing discrepancies, billing issues, and contract interpretation questions.
Participate in internal and external audits related to customer pricing, contracts, and financial controls.
Ensure compliance with contractual pricing obligations and internal pricing governance standards.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain pricing master data and ensure data integrity across ERP, reporting, and pricing systems.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc pricing reports and analytics.
Develop and maintain pricing dashboards, reports, and key performance metrics.
Generate, analyze, and communicate month-end pricing results and variance reporting.
Review and update financial information within Key Account Plans and other commercial planning tools.
Support business leaders with pricing analysis and reporting requests.
Process Improvement & Systems Support
Support pricing process improvement initiatives.
Support pricing system implementations, upgrades, testing, and enhancements.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of pricing system changes.
Support enterprise pricing transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Cross-Functional Support
Support acquisitions by integrating customer pricing structures, contracts, and pricing data into company systems.
Partner with Procurement, Sales, Finance, and Operations to administer customer cost pass-through programs.
Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure accurate pricing communication with customers.
Provide pricing support and analysis for strategic customer initiatives and special projects.
Perform additional duties and ad hoc analysis as assigned.
Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
2+ years of experience in pricing, finance, commercial operations, sales operations, contract administration, business analytics, or a related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, and data analysis tools.
Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
Strong analytical abilities

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with pricing software platforms (Pricefx, Vendavo, PROS, or similar) preferred.
Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) strongly preferred.
Experience with Business Objects, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools preferred.
Experience administering pricing programs, customer contracts, or ERP master data
