We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our team in Malaysia. This role will focus on supporting pricing and tender activities across the region while working closely with different stakeholders.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Provides commercially oriented coordination and guidance to management and business units on tender administration and tender management process
Oversees pricing and tender projects and programs within the region, ensuring alignment with business objectives including the roll out and implementation across multidisciplinary teams of Vendavo, Service Now and Salesforce.com
Oversees public and private procurement opportunities through competitive bidding processes in liaison with commercial objectives
Ensures compliance with company policies and local legislation
Support/Drive Price Optimization Programs (POP) and Price increase initiatives at a granular level across within country/region
Facilitates any management approvals required for price levels and contract terms for tenders
Partner with stakeholders to align on the product pricing and reimbursement strategies across the organization
Oversees and manages pricing discrepancies and manual overrides and suggests process improvements to limit those
Communicates the strategic, financial, and administrative implications of proposed and/or implemented pricing policy, collaborates with other stakeholders and pricing strategy team to determine price of new product
Provides critical input on final pricing contracts to ensure alignment with strategic goals
May plan and develop market research and analysis to support strategic pricing decisions
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree / University graduate
At least 3 years of experience in pricing, contracts, or related areas
Good understanding of tenders, pricing, or commercial processes
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable working with different teams and stakeholders
