Preventive Maintenance Coordinator
The Preventive Maintenance Coordinator (PM Coordinator) is responsible for managing and executing the preventative maintenance program for well servicing rigs and associated equipment. This role ensures the reliability, availability, and safety of rigs by scheduling and overseeing regular inspections and maintenance activities, while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
▪ Develop, implement, and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for well servicing rigs (e.g., workover, swab, snubbing, coiled tubing units).
▪ Create, assign and ensure accuracy of closed work orders.
▪ Coordinate routine servicing of all maintainable well servicing components, including but not limited to drawworks, masts, hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, pumps, pipe handling and pressure control equipment.
▪ Maintain accurate records of asset location, status and maintenance activities using a CMMS or digital maintenance tracking system.
▪ Monitor and escalate equipment GPS device connectivity and hardware issues.
▪ Conduct field audits and inspections to ensure equipment is maintained to operational and safety standards.
▪ Work with field supervisors, rig managers, and mechanics to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize downtime.
▪ Analyze equipment failure trends and recommend improvements or updates to maintenance procedures.
▪ Monitor spare parts inventory and liaise with supply chain teams to ensure parts availability.
▪ Support equipment mobilization and demobilization efforts to ensure rigs are ready for deployment.
▪ Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
▪ High school diploma or GED equivalent
▪ Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to read technical manuals
▪ Strong ability to multitask
▪ Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks
▪ Ability to diagnose defects in and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles
▪ Ability to utilize a preventive maintenance software
COMPUTER
▪ Proficient knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on MS Excel
▪ Experience with Manager+ preferred
