What You Bring to the Table:

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional for a temporary-to-hire role focused primarily on Prevailing Wage documentation, followed by payroll support. Experience with Sage accounting software is preferred. You should be organized, accurate, and comfortable supporting other office functions (such as AP and front/back office tasks) during downtime. Strong knowledge of prevailing wage requirements and the ability to maintain compliant documentation are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate Prevailing Wage documentation and certified payroll reports to ensure compliance
• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including timekeeping review and related reporting
• Support accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and vendor payments, as needed
• Assist with front and back office tasks such as filing, data entry, phone coverage, and general administrative support during slower periods
• Work in Sage accounting software to enter, track, and reconcile financial and payroll-related information
• Maintain organized records and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone with solid prevailing wage experience to support a long-standing construction company and potentially transition into a permanent role.
