Job Category: Criminal JusticeThis is a full-time direct service position based in the Wausau Office. This person is assigned to work 40 hours per week providing Case Management to clients referred for the Pretrial Programs. The individual in this position is responsible for completing the monthly program report and data collection. The person in this position must maintain the confidentiality of all programs, client and agency information. This person’s work schedule includes both day and evening hours, maintaining flexibility to meet the needs of participants and program operation.
As Case Manager, this person is responsible for participant referral, intake, assessment, orientation, screening, data entry/maintenance, and client monitoring. Perform case management duties including: providing court date reminders to clients, generating client reports, communication with referral source, enforcing rules, and tracking participant activities. Ensure contract objectives are met. This person is required to maintain an up-to-date Pretrial Program Policies and Procedures Manual.
QualificationsEducation & Work
Experience:
4-year Human Service Degree preferred, or appropriate combination of degree and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Case Management/counseling experience with Correctional clients.
- Excellent computer skills; Comfortable using Microsoft Office products.
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with clients with diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in assessment and screening applications for determining risk, need beneficial.
