We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Production Operator In this essential role, you will play a key part in the smooth operation of production activities at our Candiac, Quebec facility. You will maintain your general work environment and ensure the safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintenance of the work environment.
• Handle containers and bags weighing up to 25 kg.
• Operate a forklift (a valid driver's license is required).
• Operate and perform daily maintenance on a valve bagging machine.
• Operate a one-ton bagging machine (tote).
• Prepare and accurately complete production documentation.
• Follow all health, safety, and food safety rules and policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and punctually.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow company policies.
• Physical stamina and the ability to:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• Respectful, proactive, and results-oriented.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Active participation in food safety and workplace safety programs.
• Successful completion of pre-employment medical examinations and reference checks.
• Compliance with ADM's environmental, health, and safety standards.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
