Objective: To implement, supervise, and manage press operations to ensure alignment of policies, training, responsibilities, forecasting, processes, and on-time delivery is delivered at the lowest cost through continuous improvement while meeting plant and corporation objectives and financial performance. Oversee all press operations in the facility.
What does your day look like?
Enforce and direct subordinates to follow all safety procedures to achieve plant goal of zero accidents.
Implement and supervise manufacturing policies and training that facilitate the highest quality product with on time delivery at the lowest cost through continuous improvement activities.
Oversees daily/monthly production activities, responsible for achieving production targets and reporting issues to area manager which requires adjustments in manpower, processes, responsibilities and disciplinary actions.
Assist area manager in the development of the annual profit plan which involves defining departmental budgets, forecasting, direct labor, identifying equipment requirements, establishes quality goals and outlining continuous improvement programs.
Provide input and support to new product plans/programs.
Assist area manager to enhance the business objectives and financial performances of the Plant, Division and Corporation.
