Job Description

FAIR-RITE PRODUCTS CORP - has an immediate opening for a full-time Press Set-Up Operator in our Press Department on 1st shift. Come work with a team that will develop your skills!

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities

Duties includes:

  • Perform care and maintenance of required tools and press
  • Set-up press following instructions as detailed by Work Order Packet
  • Perform all necessary measurements using calipers and micrometers
  • Produce and deliver samples of set-up work pieces to the proper kiln for sintering
  • Perform both routine and detailed maintenance and repair on presses
  • Provide tool room with feedback concerning newly fabricated tools

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma (or GED) and Technical school training (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Ability to perform set-ups, for presses, with accuracy.
  • Ability to read and comprehend and issue instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to follow written/verbal instructions.
  • Prefered- approximately 3 years of press operator experience, or equivalent skill level.
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
