CCL Label Robbinsville, New Jersey is part of CCL Industries a world leader in specialty labeling and packaging solutions for our global customers. The Robbinsville location specializes in pressure sensitive labels for home and personal care products.

We are seeking an experienced Digital/Hybrid Press Operator to join our Press Department. This position is responsible for operating a Hybrid Printing Press.

Shifts Available : 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) & 3rd shift (10pm-6am)

Qualifications

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sets up and operates press to print pressure sensitive labels and provides samples to QA.
  • Reads and interprets work order and job specifications.
  • Verifies proper material, ink, tooling, plates and press settings and ensure compliance to color standards prior to production.
  • Minimizes downtime and reduces waste through proper set up and operation of press.
  • Maintains good housekeeping, follows GMPs and follows safe operating procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and corrects production problems and updates tech cards.
  • Coordinates press changeovers and may assist in training as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Good mechanical skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data.
  • Basic experience with hand tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and be able to bend, reach, climb, push, pull and stand for long periods.
  • Must be punctual, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must be open to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Recent work experience as a Press Operator (Required)
