Job Description

Job Title: Mold Press Machine Operator

  • $17/hr.
  • 5am-5:30pm (Monday-Wednesday)
  • 5am-12:30pm (Thursday)

Job Summary:

The Mold Press Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring mold press equipment to produce quality parts according to production specifications. This role includes performing quality inspections, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring production goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate mold press machines according to work instructions and production schedules.
  • Load raw materials into the machine and remove finished products.
  • Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts for defects using measuring tools, gauges, or visual inspections.
  • Trim, clean, label, sort, count, and package finished products.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Report machine malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Follow all safety procedures, GMPs, and company policies.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience operating mold press, injection molding, compression molding, or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and basic blueprints or diagrams.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods (10-11hours per day)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
