  • Adjusts and runs the printing press.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists Press Operator in the operation of the printing press
  • Performs set up for feed system
  • Assists 2nd Press Operator in changing plates and blankets
  • Ensures all press supplies are available
  • Assists with make readies
  • Assists in washing plates, blankets, rollers and ink fountains
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Performs general cleaning tasks
  • Follows all Company policies and procedures
  • Attends and participates in ongoing training
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

  • Grade 12 or acceptable experience
  • On-the-job training required and/or related experience

Skills and Physical Requirement:

  • Must be familiar and able to adhere to Company safety policies and relevant legislation
  • Able to work in a team, adapt and take initiative
  • Autonomous
  • Good communication skills
  • Capable of heavy lifting
