About the Role:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machines to bend, shape and form metal sheets according to specifications. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to quality. This is a full-time role for the right candidate!
Your Duties Will Include but not limited to:
• Machine setting and operate press brake machines
• Read and interpret drawings and work orders
• Manually loading and unloading
• Adjust machine settings, tools and gauges for precise folding
• Inspect finished parts to ensure meet quality standards
• Carry out machine change over and maintenance
• Liaise with production team
• Work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality
The Successful Candidates will have:
• Proven experience operating Press Brake (CNC)
• Current Forklift licence advantageous
• Have a high mechanical aptitude
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Sound understanding of WHS
• Attention to detail and ‘right first time’ approach
• Keen, Punctual and reliable team player
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
