**Retention Bonus $5,000** (paid in 2 parts 1/2 at 90 days and 1/2 at a year) - you must be certified to get the bonus
Available shifts - Monday - Friday - no weekends
As a Preschool Special Education Teacher, you will develop and implement classroom instructional plans for preschool students in the Neil Hellman Preschool. You will also support students' success in academic and behavioral goals. You will report to the Preschool Supervising Teacher and you will work onsite.
This role requires the ability to actively supervise young children with developmental and behavioral needs in classroom, therapeutic, and playground settings. Daily duties involve frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, lifting, carrying, and floor-based activities. The employee must be able to respond quickly to behavioral, medical, and safety emergencies; assist with mobility, positioning, toileting, and transfers; implement approved behavioral intervention strategies; and lift and carry children, equipment, and materials up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
