Preschool Teacher Assistant and Extended Care Provider (Hourly)

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy
Start Date: As soon as the position is filled
Schedule: 8 hours per day - 9:30 a.m.-6:00 pm

Qualifications

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy is hiring a Preschool Assistant for our classroom and extended care program. We are seeking a caring and dedicated individual who is fluent in Spanish and brings structure, warmth, and faith to a classroom of joyful, curious, and growing learners. This role is ideal for an early childhood assistant educator who views teaching as a ministry and values working in a faith-centered, bilingual environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the lead teacher with daily classroom routines, transitions, and student supervision
• Assisting with learning centers, small-group instruction, and hands-on activities
• Supporting students' social-emotional development and positive behavior
• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure consistency and high-quality care
• Supporting the Catholic identity and mission of Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children in a school or childcare setting
• Patient, attentive, and nurturing approach to working with children
• Ability to follow direction while also taking initiative when appropriate
• Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
• Fluent in Spanish

• Work collaboratively with Early Learning teachers, aides, and administration
• Maintain open and professional communication with families regarding student growth

Salary

$20�$24 per hour

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, and the applicant's skills, experience, education, and certifications.
