Preschool Teacher Assistant (aka Early Education Classroom Engagement Support)

School Year positions work 7:30a - 4:00p (with a 30 minute lunch break)
$17.06/hr (require: high school diploma/no experience)
$18.13/hr (must have CDA credential)
$19.22/hr (must have AA Degree in Early Childhood)
Pay increase AND $500 pay incentive after obtaining CDA.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or a related degree required. If you do not have the CDA, you must be willing to obtain it during employment, therefore we will train the right person! Experience working in a preschool classroom and/or childcare center is preferred, but most of all you must enjoy working with young children!
Duties include assisting young children with various activities and providing direction and guidance in a learning based environment.

General Information
Eight elementary, two middle, two high schools and a virtual school serve Pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The district partners with Salina Area Technical College, Hutchinson Community College, Kansas Wesleyan University, and K-State Polytechnic for Salina students to earn college credits and learn skills.
