About the Role:Join The Goddard School of Mount Pleasant, SC as a Preschool Teacher and inspire young minds in a nurturing and creative environment. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood education that fosters growth and development in every child.

Responsibilities:

• Implement "Wonder of Learning" curriculum that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment for children aged 3-5.
• Observe and assess children’s developmental progress and communicate findings to parents.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to build a strong community.
• Utilize age-appropriate teaching methods and materials to enhance learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a cohesive and supportive teaching team.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; Bachelor's preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning standards.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for teaching.
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
• Background check and clearances required for employment.

Compensation: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
