Location: The Learning Experience – Gainesville, VA
Pay: $16–$19 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Gainesville is seeking a dependable Preschool Teacher to support a structured classroom serving children ages 3–5. This role focuses on helping children develop confidence, independence, and foundational academic skills through engaging routines and hands-on learning experiences.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working in a collaborative teaching environment and supporting kindergarten readiness development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom routines for preschool-aged children
• Implement developmentally appropriate learning activities
• Encourage early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional growth
• Guide children through learning centers, meals, and classroom transitions
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates
• Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
• Follow Virginia licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience required
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
