Location: The Learning Experience, Columbia
Schedule: 9am–6pm, Monday–Friday (full availability required)
Compensation: $16–$17/hr, based on experience

Lead Our Preschool Classroom With Purpose


We’re seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Lead Teacher to guide our Preschool (Age 4) classroom. If you’re passionate about early learning, love helping children build independence, and enjoy creating meaningful, hands‑on learning experiences, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact every single day.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
  
  
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
  
  
• Support daily routines and transitions to ensure a smooth, positive flow
  
  
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow staff
  
  
• Observe, document, and communicate developmental progress and classroom behaviors
  
  
• Model professionalism, positivity, and leadership within the classroom community
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with preschool‑age children (ages 3–5), preferably in a lead role
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
  
  
• Flexibility to work within the center’s 7:00 AM–6:00 PM operating hours
  
  
• Education in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a plus
  
  
• Has or will obtain the 15‑hour South Carolina Health & Safety Certification (free) before orientation day
  
  
• Has or will obtain First Aid/CPR certification
  
  
• A passion for early learning, creativity, and classroom leadership

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
