Preschool Teacher – Early Childhood Classroom
Location: The Learning Experience – River Vale, NJ
Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – River Vale is seeking a dependable Preschool Teacher to support a structured classroom serving children ages 3–5. This role focuses on helping children build confidence, independence, and early academic skills through engaging daily routines and hands-on learning experiences.

This position is ideal for educators who enjoy working in a collaborative teaching environment and supporting children as they prepare for kindergarten readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally appropriate classroom activities for preschool-aged children
• Support early literacy, math readiness, and social-emotional development
• Guide children through daily routines including learning centers, meals, and rest time
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities and progress
• Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
• Follow all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements and center policies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior preschool or childcare experience preferred
• Strong classroom support and communication skills
• Reliable and team-oriented approach to teaching
• Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
