Preschool Teacher – The Learning Experience Meridian

Location: Meridian, ID
Pay: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

About the Role

The Learning Experience – Meridian is seeking a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Our preschool classrooms focus on preparing children for kindergarten through hands-on learning, creativity, and structured play.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with children ages 3–5 and wants to be part of a supportive, professional childcare environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a preschool classroom in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
  
  
• Implement age-appropriate, play-based activities that support early literacy, math, and social skills
  
  
• Encourage independence, positive behavior, and peer relationships
  
  
• Communicate daily with families about learning, routines, and progress
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets licensing and safety standards
  
  
• Work closely with co-teachers and leadership to ensure classroom success
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
  
  
• Previous experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting preferred
  
  
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
  
  
• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
  
  
• CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  
  
• Must meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
