Preschool Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience – Newark, DE
Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a Preschool Teacher with TECE I or TECE II credentials to join our early childhood education team. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy creating a structured, engaging, and play-based learning environment that supports school readiness and social development.

Our preschool classrooms focus on consistency, positive guidance, and hands-on learning to help children build confidence, independence, and early academic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support preschool classroom activities in a safe, developmentally appropriate environment
  
  
• Implement daily lessons aligned with The Learning Experience curriculum
  
  
• Guide children through learning centers, transitions, meals, and rest time
  
  
• Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets health and safety standards
  
  
• Build strong relationships with families through daily communication
  
  
• Maintain compliance with Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing requirements and center policies
  
  

Qualifications:

• TECE I or TECE II credential required
  
  
• Prior preschool or childcare classroom experience preferred
  
  
• Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
  
  
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
  
  
• Ability to meet all Delaware childcare licensing and background requirements
